华州当选州长弗格森宣布53人过渡政府团队

随着鲍勃·弗格森(Bob Ferguson)当选为华盛顿州州长,两党州议员、说客、地方民选官员、律师、部落和工会都将在他的团队中占有一席之地。

周二,弗格森宣布了一个由53人组成的团队,将协助从杰·英斯利(Jay Inslee)州长到新政府的过渡。根据当选州长办公室的消息,他们将帮助弗格森在新政府的前100天内实现其优先事项,并寻找更好地服务华盛顿州居民的方法。

“过渡对我们的州来说是一个关键时期,”弗格森在一份声明中说,“我很感激这支团队为此付出的时间和精力。”

弗格森的团队包括斯波坎市(Spokane)市长丽莎·布朗(Lisa Brown)、莱文沃思(Leavenworth,或称德国小镇)市长卡尔·弗洛雷亚(Carl Florea)和塔科马(Tacoma)市长维多利亚·伍德尔兹(Victoria Woodards)等市长。团队中还有多位现任和前任州议员,包括民主党人莫妮卡·斯托尼尔(Monica Stonier),众议院多数党领袖,前参议院多数党领袖安迪·比利格(Andy Billig),以及摩西湖(Moses Lake)的共和党众议员汤姆·登特(Tom Dent)。

前民主党州参议员马克·马勒特(Mark Mullet)——弗格森在今年初州长初选中的对手——也加入了团队。

来自商界的代表也在其中,比如说客丹尼·埃利亚森(Denny Eliason)和华盛顿商业协会(Association of Washington Business)政府事务副总裁戴夫·马斯汀(Dave Mastin)。劳工团体方面则包括华盛顿州劳工委员会主席艾普丽尔·西姆斯(April Sims)和服务员工国际联盟775分会(Service Employees International Union 775)主席斯特林·哈德斯(Sterling Harders)。

弗格森还选择了卡利斯佩尔(Kalispel)、斯诺夸尔米(Snoqualmie)、普亚鲁普(Puyallup)和奎诺特(Quinault)部落的领导人,以及全州的环保团体、警察倡导团体和华盛顿州计划生育组织(Planned Parenthood of Washington)。

“我们将致力于为州面临的挑战提供务实且符合常理的解决方案,”弗格森表示,“这支团队带来了丰富的知识和经验。”

除了帮助弗格森实施其初步优先事项外,该团队还将有机会帮助审查有意愿在弗格森内阁和政府任职的人选。

英斯利的办公室去年估计,一旦这位三任州长的任期结束,可能会有约70%的工作人员变动。他的政府在过去一年中一直在为过渡做准备,包括存档记录、确定员工的买断方案,并在11月选举前与两位州长候选人会面。

根据新闻稿,弗格森的团队还将确定“保护华盛顿州居民免受另一届特朗普政府和2025项目潜在危害的策略”。弗格森和即将上任的总检察长尼克·布朗(Nick Brown)已在为可能违反华盛顿法律的特朗普支持政策组建法律团队。

该过渡团队计划于11月22日首次会议。
