【西雅图中文电台特稿】即将于2020年8月4日举行的华盛顿州初选中,有36人竞选州长,12人竞选副州长,代表华盛顿州的10个联邦众议院的席位将全部改选,每个席位都有4-19人不等的参选人竞争,而华盛顿州的大多数参议员和众议员也都面临着改选。初选获胜进入大选的候选人,能否改变华盛顿州的政治版图,是本次初选人们关注的焦点。

以下是8月4日在华盛顿州举行的初选中要举行的主要竞选,其中包括州长、副州长和总检察长等的选举。8月4日的初选中有几场州里最高级别的选举,包括州长、副州长、州务卿和总检察长的初选。所有国会议员席位都将重新选举,而10区是美国众议员丹尼·赫克(Denny Heck)宣布退休后的一个开放领域,该席位将有19人争夺。

现任华州总检察长鲍勃·弗格森(Bob Ferguson)吸引了三位共和党挑战者:律师马特·拉金(Matt Larkin),迈克·瓦斯卡(Mike Vaska)和布雷特·罗杰斯(Brett Rogers)。

州务卿

有四名候选人争夺州务卿

华盛顿州在八月四日的初选中,现任共和党人金·怀曼将面对埃德·明格,绅士·兰格和盖尔·塔尔顿的挑战。
